You are invited to be a part of this excellent conference. We are currently soliciting papers which address solutions to environmental problems and regulatory issues in the petroleum industry. The authors are requested to submit abstracts ( max 300 words) in English, which should comprise  clear and concise summary of the text and conclusions of the papers. Abstracts should be submitted electronically for the attention of the Chairman of the Scientific Committee no later than 29/02/2008 , to ipecsci@noclibya.com.ly. Please be sure to include your name, full address  telephone number and conference topic. Subject line in the email should read: Abstract.

TENTATIIIVE SET--- UP:

 

This gathering has been designed to allow maximum interaction between participants and give them the chance to tackle the subject of the theme in various ways.

To achieve this goal the following events have been accordingly planed. However, based on actual circumstances (revealed during the course of preparation of the forum) one or more of the targeted events not be achievable and therefore, may be omitted.

 

• Plenary Sessions:

 

 In which all attendees come together to consider issues related to the topics of the conference. Plenary speakers are notable in their field.

 

• Concurrent Sessions:

 

Concurrent sessions will take a range of formats, including paper presentations, and more audience interactive formats such as panel discussions, and round tables, etc.

 

• Company Presentation:

 

 Leading national and international companies in petroleum and petrochemical industries, including service companies, will share the interested participants some selected topics of common interest related to company activities in Libya and overseas.

 

• Product Presentation:

 

 For the benefit of technology advance, these presentations will open a golden opportunity for interaction between suppliers of materials, equipment and services on one side and the end users of these products on the other side.

 

 

• Workshops and Seminars:

 

 (require separate registration and an additional fee) open only for conference participants on a first-come, first-serve basis. Some workshops and Seminars may be held at locations other than the conference venue.

 

• Side Meetings, small-group programmatic, business, or affinity meetings. (Some side meetings are open to all forum registrants; others are by invitation only)

 

• Poster / Computer Demo Session, runs on time table convenient to both presenters and audience.

 

 

• Exhibits and Displays:
